Nathan Buttel is an artist and musician that builds sound worlds to tell stories. Curiosity for sound’s vast potential to communicate complex emotions fuels his explorations, both when writing for film and for records; he values grounding the experimental in what’s truly emotive. As a multi-instrumentalist with adept technical production and engineering knowledge, he guides projects from the initial sketches to the final master.

Nathan approaches projects and collaborations through an iterative lens, informed by his design experience, which values conceptually-based musicality and communication.
